Our Story
The Founding Moment
A photograph, and a principle.
It was 1929. At the Merion Cricket Club in Pennsylvania, a Stanford student named Lionel O. competed in the Intercollegiate Championship. A photographer captured something no trophy could – calm focus, an elegant return, silent confidence.
That image was acquired in 2025 by Carlstone as a symbol of what we believe: that excellence has always been quiet. The best moments are never announced.
